Job Vacancy at The Depot Climbing Centre, Leeds


Role - Duty Manager , 30+ hours per week

 

The role of duty manager entails you taking on the responsibility for the running of the centre on a daily basis when you are on shift. This will include making sure the centre is run in the safe, fun and inviting manner that is associated with The Depot brand.

When on duty as Duty Manager you will be responsible for day to day operations including, running reception, the shop and café. You will be expected to instruct and coach customers and keep the centre clean and tidy.

Shift patterns will vary and will include holiday cover. You will be expected to work evenings weekends and bank holidays.

 

Successful candidates will have or be working towards:

 

• Previous experience working in a climbing wall/sport and leisure environment
• Previous experience of managing small teams of people
• Actively boulder at indoor centres
• Current First Aid Qualification
• The Climbing Wall Award (CWA) or Single Pitch Award (SPA)
• Fundamentals of climbing 1, 2 and 3 (Or working towards these)
• Foundation or Development Coach Award (Or working towards these)
